Location - Off end of Bullington Rd, Siloam, Surry Co., NC.
Coordinates: 36d 20m 22.0s N; 80d 32m 47.0s W Click here for Online Maps
Directions: From intersection of US Hwy 52 & NC Hwy 268 in Pilot Mtn, go west on NC Hwy 268 for 0.25 mile and turn left on Shoals Rd (SR 2048). Then go 2.6 miles and turn right on Pilot Church Rd (SR 2057). Then go about 0.5 mile and turn Right on Corner Rd (SR 2058). Then go about 1.4 miles and turn Right on Bullington Rd (SR 2118). Following the road to the left where it splits and go to the end. The caretaker of the land is on the left in a mobile home. Cemetery is in a forested area about 1.0 mile west of the end of Bullington Rd.

Status of cemetery: Abandoned.
Initial survey and GPS was from prior survey from 1970s-1980s and showed 16 graves, but only a few are legible now, most are field stones. Is on land owned by Duke Power on east side of Ararat River. Trees were clear cut about 2001-2003 time frame. Cannot get to graves without owner's permission. Burials were Abram Whitaker (b. 4-14-1817, d. 5-1-1890) and wife Lydia Whitaker (b. 3-28-1822, d. 3-11-1877); Abram's sister Elizabeth Whitaker (b. 3-21-1823, d. 11-30-1893); David Ayers (b and d. 5-14-1869). Was land of Edmond Whitaker and Dicy Safley
