Location - Armstrong Rd, Pilot Mtn., Surry Co., NC.

Directions: From intersection of NC Hwy 268 and US Hwy 52 in Pilot Mtn, go north on US 52 and turn right on Cook School Rd. At end of ramp and stop sign, turn left on Cook School Rd and continue to Old Hwy 52 S. Go about 3.10 miles and turn right on Armstrong Rd. Go about .8 mile along a curvy road to a short straight stretch to a "lone" white mail box and a sign Taylor Cemetery on the left side of the road. Turn directly across from the mailbox on a gravel driveway (right). Go past an old shed on left and turn left on a grassy roadbed with a sign for Taylor Cemetery. Go down grassy drive and the cemetery is enclosed in a fence.
Large marker in the Taylor Grave Yard includes names of Benjamin Taylor (b. 16 Jul 1780 - 23 Oct 1858) and his wife Nancy (Williams) Taylor (b. 25 Aug 1787 - 19 Aug 1866). Also includes his brother William Taylor (who died in the War of 1814) and his wife Susan (Singleton) Taylor (old marker).
