  1. Sloan, Ronald Frank "Scooter"   (b. 6 May 1951 - d. 13 May 2020)
      • Son of Frank Sloan and Mary Emma Lanier Sloan Dowd. Ronald Frank "Scooter" Sloan, age 69 of Broadway, died at his home. He was born in Harnett County, son of the late Frank Sloan and Mary Emma Lanier Sloan. Scooter was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Alberta Wilson, Sandy Cole and niece Susie Delgiudice. He enjoyed working on lawn mowers and loved his job as a truck driver. Surviving are his sisters, Patricia Morris (Landon Womack) and Deborah Perez of Broadway, NC. Special niece Christy Sloan of the home and nieces and nephews Patricia Torres, Belinda Merritt, John Morris, Tammy Hatton, Benjamin Perez, Beth Perez, and Jeffery Sloan. Arrangements were by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway. Graveside services were held at Sloan Family Cemetery.
