Location - behind property of 3413 Mount Pisgah Church Rd, about one mile south of Mount Pisgah Presbyterian Church on the old home place.

Survey and photograph by Jimmy M. McNeill and Van Johnson Buie in 2016 while deer hunting. Anthony Ross Harrington wrote the narrative for Janet McLean Harrington.

Also Jimmy stated that two small rocks are located near this tombstone and it is believed that these two rocks belong to her sons: Archibald Hugh Harrington and Alexander Flynn Harrington, both which died young and single and were not buried at Mount Pisgah Church Cemetery

1. Harrington, Alexander Flynn   (b. 23 Aug 1855 - d. 17 Nov 1909)
Small rock. Son of John A. Harrington and Janet McLean Harrington. He was a farmer and a member of Mount Pisgah Presbyterian Church. (believed to be buried here)
2. Harrington, Archibald Hugh   (b. 29 Apr 1847 - d. Mar 1888)
Small rock. Son of John A. Harrington and Janet McLean Harrington. He taught school in Cumberland and Harnett Counties and wrote poetry. He was a member of Mount Pisgah Presbyterian Church. (believed to be buried here)
3. Harrington, Janet McLean   (b. 1823 - d. 15 Jan 1887)
Wife of John A. Harrington (1816-1898, buried at Mount Pisgah Presbyterian Church); mother of eleven children, seven of which are buried in the Mount Pisgah Presbyterian Church Cemetery. She is buried one mile south of the church on her old home place land, since the Upper Little River was too high or flooding to get the team of horses across it to carry her to Mount Pisgah for burial.

The date of the tombstone for death is incorrect, according to Daisy Kelly Cox who wrote the Sion Harrington Family History in 1960. The date should be 1887 instead of 1881, since the cemetery at Mount Pisgah did not exist until 1883 and Janet's daughter in law, Margaret McLean Harrington was the first person buried in that cemetery in August 1884.
