160    CASH, BRYANT FAMILY

Location - off Highland Rd about 600 yards into the woods.

Directions: from I-85N take exit 186, go north on Gate One Road approximately 2 miles until you cross the Railroad tracks and enter Butner. After crossing tracks turn left on Highland Rd. Go approximately 200 yards until end of pavement. Here there is a cable across the road and from this point all vehicle traffic is prohibited. Walk along Highland Road approximately 500 yards until you get to a road on the right; turn on this road and walk 150 yards to cemetery.

Also known as the Forsythe Cemetery.

There are only three inscribed stones in this gravesite however this was a very early and large cemetery before a portion of it was destroyed by the occupation of military personal during WW-II. It contained more than 100 gravesites with over 25 slave graves on the eastern side. In 2003 the Granville Co cemetery preservation committee cleaned it and placed 63 PVC crosses to mark the visible graves. Today vandals have broken or removed many of these markers. A Cash relative has provided a list of some of the people buried there.
