Location - just a short distance from the Oxford city limits going east on Hwy 158 toward Henderson, turn left on Tom Parham Rd. The cemetery is located on the right in the woods just after turning.

Inscription on base of monument: Father, Son and Grandson preserved the heritage of land and a good name in peace and war for 150 years and left them to their children.
Many depressions and fieldstones are visible surrounding the grave stones. These are said to be graves of slaves.

Here lies the body of William Hicks, he bought this land from the Earl of Granville.
