098    HARSHAW FAMILY CEMETERY

Location - in the woods off Smokey Creek Rd about 0.8 mile from the Catawba River.


From the Burke County Courthouse take East Meeting Street ( Bus. Hwy. 70) east for 1.75 miles. Turn left on Amherst Raod. Go 2.8 miles to Hoffman Bridge Road. Turn left. Just after crossing the Catawba River, turn right on Smokey Creek Road. Travel .8 mile to an old dirt road on right. Walk down the dirt road until you have to turn right or left. Go left and follow road into woods. Cemetery is beside this road.
